AFRIRAMPO has finally landed in America after ending their tour with Sonic Youth leaving a sea stunned Swedes in their wake.
I Have not not seen AFRIRAMPO live yet but they must be leaving quite an impression as they play from gig to gig. During their tour in Europe this page has had
hundreds of visits from every country in Europe from the tip of Spain to Greenland. Shit, They even got some hits from the Russian Federation.
AFRIRAMPO is a Japanese female wildcat duet-cute, loud and a little crass. Their over all sound oscillates between wild and loose to tight and complex arrangements.
Like a rock supernova caught in a perpetual loop, exploding and imploding upon itself. This is all done with minimal gear: vocals, guitar and drums.
This is some of the best music I've heard in awhile and I can't wait to see them!

AFRIRAMPO: It was big BOMB in earth...2002.

It was started '02 spring, when they are 18-19 years old. this time 2years
old "AFRIRAMPO". They are so cute and little barbarous pair naked mind, and
brain open feel give to all kind poeple.
They play G.vo-ONI and Dr,vo-pikacyu very heavy kind of rock and so
inprovised feels catch everytime different sound. They are like 60's
hippys but try a lot of new interesting things.

In Osaka Castie Park (like brooks), they organize jam session party every

and all kinds) play started from evening sun to in the morning sunrose.
